I want a man with a slow hand . . .

I want a lover with an easy touch
I want somebody who will spend some time
Not come and go in a heated rush
I want somebody who will understand
When it comes to love I want a slow hand

Some people just have "the touch" with Keetains.  The little things become kitty putty in their hands.  It's rather like hypnotizing a crocodile, but without the potential inconvenience of losing limbs.

Now, to my credit, my kids have been reared in a manner that fully encourages lap cat behavior.  I pick them up a lot.  I never make them jump down from my arms if I am standing; I always set them gently down on the floor.  Keaton is going to give me a hernia one day.

That aside, I happen to be living with the Cesar Millan of catdom ("I yam de cat wheeeesperer").   If Mark gets down on the floor with Sebastian, the latter rolls over.  We call that being "an upside-downin' cat." Usually he stretches out completely after, and we call that being a "snausage."  Yes, we are weird, and proud of it.

Julia will let him do absolutely anything, no matter how humiliating.  She has no shame.  Not when it comes to Mark.

"I'm a Cobra"

Neither do I, come to think of it.

  1. I love it when a cat reveals their secret spots -- I had a cat that loved getting her armpits rubbed
-- wait, do cats have armpits or are they all
    leg-pits? :)
